long beach aquarium

While in California, we only had one free day to plan a fun outing with the fam. My Dad thought it would be fun to head over to the aquarium in LB. I haven't been there since I was a wee one and I'm glad that we went. T had a blast. Christian only had one day to get in a cold water surf, so stayed back and went with our friend Will.

Aunt Chelcie teaches T about how dangerous sharks can be, by showing him that he could be swallowed whole in just one bite.

We went and saw a 4D Turtle cartoon movie which was pretty cool, but ended up being one of those propaganda movies that traumatizes little kids and teaches them to be terrified of humans and hate them. Sad, but the overall experience was super fun. For some reason my mom chose to sit in the very front row, in an empty theater. :) So we got to experience 4D in full effect, with the smoke machine and waters splashed right in our faces. It was funny.

Tristan LOVED this part. He now thinks that it's ok to stick his hand in the water at Ala Moana mall and pet the Koi fish. Trying to teach him that only happens at the aquarium.

I just had to end on this picture of Joaquin, because he is just one cute little nugget.

the gonzalez family

We had the opportunity to make a quick trip out to California to watch this sweet, little family be sealed together in the Newport Beach Temple. I just love them, especially that little boy of theirs, Joaquin. The sealing ceremony was so special and wonderful and I'm so glad that we could be there.

I didn't take that many pictures of the gang but here are a couple from my camera, attempting to take nice sibling pictures:

fist pump

He's back! Remember the power stance? Little T has mastered a new move...the fist pump! Except that he has taken it to a whole new level. This kid is awesome.

young galaxy

This song is sick. nice beat, subtle 80s electronic influence- that sound that comes in at :37 seconds into it. unreal. I used to struggle to find new music. Now it's there for me whenever I want to go looking.
