monkey in his cage

Ever since T started standing up in his crib, we realized that it was time to lower the crib mattress. It was too scary. He could easily fold over and fall out. Now, I think he likes the challenge of trying to get out. It got too easy for him. He stands up and falls, and climbs and falls. Thank goodness for bumpers!

Man, if he is already trying to climb like this now you had better watch out :) That was such a cute video. I just love his smile when he accomplishes what he wants.

I've always found the bumbers eventually aid in crib escape. Enjoy containment for the last few sweet months. It will be over way too soon. Then you will just have to train him to stay in bed....obedience training starts early with "motivated" children. ;-)
