i've watched this trailer over and over, i'm excited already. spike jonze, arcade fire, forest whitaker, etc. i think there's potential for greatness here. sweet!

Fun! All I remember about that book is the cover art and the fact that I LOVED it.
I reread the book tonight. Trailer looked pretty much like the book! Should be fun.
I am so excited!!! I didn't even know they were making this movie.
Anders just read me the book the other day. I love it. I didn't know they made a movie. Can't wait.
(cute pics on the beach. The first time I took Lucy to the beach I poured a whole bottle of sunblock on her put her in the shade with a hat on and then got so worried I took her inside. I still get mocked about that day.)
Late addition: Pres. Obama read the book to the keikis today at the annual Easter egg roll. Who knew you had something this significant in common!
