The Ramsey Scale

Thumbs up:

Ben and Jerry's Mint Chocolate Cookie - Ice Cream of the Week. -SH

The month of Halloween means nothing but scary/horror movies. -CH

Thanks for discovering America Mr. Columbus, I get a 3 day weekend. -CH

Economic troubles means fewer of these people walking around, less people in the water, less crowds everywhere you go! -CH

Thumbs Down:

Panda Express was gnarly the other night. Tried to help the economy, but don't want to go back anytime soon. -CH & SH

Constant back pain and shooting pains down the leg, nerve crushing and achy-ness. It will only get better as the belly grows, right? -SH

Airlines, all of them! They suck. Inter-island tickets are now like $500 for the two of us to go to the B.I. for the weekend...if we book it a month or so in advance it's cheaper, but still not what it used to be.
"Thumbs down on the Ramsey scale." -CH & SH

Fun post! One comment on the airlines: a round-trip ticket from Honolulu to Hilo cost $145 in about 1980. Can't complain too much about ticket prices today when I look at the increase in the price of everything else.

B&J's mint cookie is pretty much the best icecream ever invented. And panda let us down last time we went, too. So disappointing.

Yikes! $500!!! Youch.

And Shandra....do you get those killer pregnancy leg cramps or side cramps in the middle of the night that make you absolutely feel like you are going to jump out of your skin? Only a few more months (sort of) to go, right?

Loving the Ramsey scale. Too bad you guys have to pay more to fly for a half an hour than James and I paid to fly across the country to NY.

We're planning scary-movie- watching festivities for Halloween and need a flick that won't be too offensive. Any suggestions?

great question, derms, I'm glad you brought that up. i am always trying to figure out what to watch that will strike fear within myself, maybe scar me for life. It's hard. then, not offensive makes it even harder. umm... we just watched Salem's Lot for the first time, the original shown in the post. it's like 3 hours long but was entertaining i thought. not that scary, but kind of cool. it's PG. i know alot of the Stephen King movies are first made for TV, so are long and probably less offensive...

Some favs are the Ring, What Lies Beneath, Exorcism of Emily Rose...
of course Pet Cemetery! what about Cloverfield? did you see that yet?

I'll try think of more...
